A typical itinerary for a white water rafting trip to River Salmon, Idaho

Our holidays are individually tailored around you. Travel to and from the UK is by scheduled airline, on dates to suit your timescales. However, the raft trips are through a protected wilderness area and depart on fixed dates which are issued by the wilderness authorities.
The itinerary below is a basic guideline assuming a two-week holiday departing from the UK the day before the raft launch, but there are many different options that can be arranged depending on your own particular interests.
Day 1: Fly to Boise. Stay overnight
Boise.
Day 2 - am: Air taxi to Salmon to pick up
raft group
Day 2-7: Raft the River Salmon ('River
of No Return'), camping overnight on river beaches, all food, drink and equipment
provided.
Day 7-14: Return to McCall where you
can pick up a hire car. McCall is one of the world's best kept scenic secrets, nestled
between two mountain ranges, with the beautiful Lake Payette forming a stunning frontage
to the town. McCall offers many opportunities to explore this little known area or to just
sit back and take in the scenery with good food and a cold beer. Activities in and around
McCall include mountain biking, hiking, visiting ghost towns, hot springs, fishing, horse
riding, jet-boating, kayaking, golfing etc. Equipment can be rented locally.
Day 15: Air taxi flight back to Boise, connecting to UK flight.
A couple of other possibilities are but you tell us what you want
1: Spend a few days relaxing at the 100 Acre Wood Hotel, Salmon before the raft launch. Your hosts Jon and Nancy Cummings will offer you superb gourmet cuisine, and will be delighted to show you the many and varied Idaho/Montana sights - for example, ghost gold towns, panning for gold and catch and release fishing in their own lake.
2: Spend a couple of nights being pampered at the luxurious Riggins Hot Springs Resort Hotel at the end of the Raft trip. Riggins Hot Springs is an all-inclusive resort hotel, with it's own geothermal hot springs and complete recreational facilities.
3: Stop over in an alternative US city on the outward or return flight.
