Fee Structure

This givs an outline of our costs for interior design projects.

Stage 1
£50 /hour (refundable if we progress to Stage 2) An interior designer will meet you at the site in question to discuss your requirements. This is also your opportunity to get the feel for us and ask any questions about our service.

Stage 2
We will request a second meeting, which will be free of charge. Here we will present some broad outlines to ensure that we have fully understood your requirements. We may present some sample boards or 'mood' boards, but we will not have completed full plans. If you like what we have done so far, this is the meeting where we will ask you to instruct us to complete a design for you.

Stage 2 - Design Fee
After the second meeting, we will produce details plans and samples. As this is a sale of our ideas, it comes under intellectual property and we will charge for the design even if you choose not to go ahead with the project. The fee charged starts at £400 per room, although the precise charge for any one commission will be subject to quotation after the second meeting.

Alternatively, a flat fee for the project will be agreed with you, and any meetings will be included in the budget. (If there is significant travel involved in reaching the meeting, then travel time may be included). However, in most cases this does not apply, as meetings are included in the design fee.
