Fee Structure
This givs an outline of our costs for interior design projects.
Stage
1
£50
/hour (refundable if we progress to Stage 2) An interior designer will meet
you at the site in question to discuss your requirements. This is also your
opportunity to get the feel for us and ask any questions about our service.
Stage
2
We
will request a second meeting, which will be free of charge. Here we will
present some broad outlines to ensure that we have fully understood your requirements.
We may present some sample boards or 'mood' boards, but we will not have completed
full plans. If you like what we have done so far, this is the meeting where
we will ask you to instruct us to complete a design for you.
Stage
2 - Design Fee
After the second meeting, we will produce details plans and samples. As this
is a sale of our ideas, it comes under intellectual property and we will charge
for the design even if you choose not to go ahead with the project. The fee
charged starts at £400 per room, although the precise charge for any one commission
will be subject to quotation after the second meeting.
Subsequent
meetings for Stage 2
These will be either charged at the rate of a minimum of £35 and £35 per hour
pro rata. (Thus a meeting of an one and half hours will be charged at £52.50;
a meeting of 45 minutes at £35). Alternatively, a flat fee for the project
will be agreed with you, and any meetings will be included in the budget.
(If there is significant travel involved in reaching the meeting, then travel
time may be included). However, in most cases this does not apply, as meetings
are included in the design fee.
Stage 3 - Sourcing materials, tradespeople, furniture
At £25 hour, plus any travel expenses to visit suppliers

4 - Project Management
At £25 hour, plus any travel expenses to visit suppliers A full quote will
be provided at Stage 2.
Commercial projects are subject to quotation.
